MINISTRY ACTIVITIES
This week I have spent 6 hours in the church. I have been doing the same things that I have been doing throughout the semester, but now I feel like I am doing them from my heart and not because I have been told to do them. I spent time leading in a small group, leading in group prayer, leading in games and activities, and just more time building relationships with the students. It has been fantastic to experience in a healthy church where it actually makes a difference.
REFLECTION ON MINISTRY
Thinking back of the ministry that I did this week, I do not see it as work or something I have to but something I love to do. It has changed from school work to a passion and a desire I have to be with my students. I have begun to truly cherish the students and their relationships that they have with God. I am thankful for the opportunities that this practicum has given me these students.
SPIRITUAL REFLECTION
Spiritually this week I have done much better. I have not been reading through one book of the bible just searching through passages that I have read in previous sittings and rereading them and reflecting on what they mean and how they affect my life. I read through the end of Ecclesiastes because I have been experiencing some depression questions of life. So I think that God has been really teaching me and shaping me and helping me grow through this time of depression and trials so that I can be the man and the minister that he has been shaping me to be throughout my life.
