Week 4

MINISTRY ACTIVITIES
This week in ministry i did not spend as much time in ministry, but i feel as if it was possibly equally as beneficial. I spoke again this week, which was another blessing. I finished my four week series on LIFE. Along with preaching to the students this week, i spent time preparing for youth in setup of the room, leading a small group discussion and prayer, and continuing to grow in build relationships with the students in just hanging out with them. This week of total ministry i have spent a total of 7 hours. Which was preparation for youth (not all prep was included in that) and actual ministry in being with students.

REFLECTION ON MINISTRY
Ministry has been so awesome. I love that i am actually getting to use what i am learning in the classroom with real students and it put it into practice. I feel like by doing this that it is all coming alive. When i get to hang out with the students and tease them and talk to them and build those relationships with them, i know that it is all worth it. I know that God has prepared me for this because of the expereinces i am having in practicum. When i was speaking this week, i could see the differnece in their faces. They were into what i was saying and cared and respected it because i have proved myself to them. They trust me and because of that i can teach them and they will listen and learn....Praise God!

SPIRITUAL REFLECTION
This week spiritually has been another blessing. I have been able to spend time reading, praying, journaling, and even solitude this week. I feel like God has really been teaching me the importance of my own relationship with him. I have been reading through ephesians, since that is what i have been teaching the students for the past few weeks. I have realized that there is so much truth in that book, which is why i have been reading it through and through many times. I just pray that this spiritual journey i'm on can continue so that i can grow closer to God and closer to what he has for me in life, because i know it is going to be something great.
