Week 6

MINISTRY ACTIVITIES
Wow! This week was long. There were so many activities that took place throughout this whole weekend. This weekend was the Indiana Central District snow camp, so we were at that all weekend. It was a long weekend, but was probably the most beneficial ministry weekend i have had in a long time. This weekend i put in 29 hours (not including sleep time) face time with the students. This was anything from helping lead them where they needed to be to prayer to just spending time building those already solid relationships. This weekend was amazing, but i will talk more about that later.

REFLECTION ON MINISTRY
Ministry was amazing this weekend. I loved spending all of my time with the students. It was good because it showed them that i really care about them. We spent most of the weekend just hanging and building community amongst our group, so that was very cool. The coolest thing that i experienced this weekend was the car ride home. We had two vehicles (guys in one and girls in the other). We had a walkie talkie in each. So the whole 3.5 hour car ride home we spent asking personal questions from car to car. This was amazing. It helped build the group closer to each other. Since that time i have felt closer to the group than i ever have. I loved it.

SPIRITUAL REFLECTION
This week spiritually for me was better than the last few weeks. I spent time in bible reading through James, which has been very good and beneficial. I did a lot better with practicing the spiritual disciplines, which has been very good. I feel like being closer to the students in the youth group really affects how my spiritual journey is going in my life.
